Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aílton Furlan kicked off to start the match. Alfredão Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Missi AD's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Terra came free, but Juninho Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Petrolandia defense, Alfredão Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Zonta. The Petrolandia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Augusto Zonta should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Armandinho Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Missi AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Augusto Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Aílton Furlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juninho Seco. Missi AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Furlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marcus da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Alfredão Correia took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Zonta. Carlos Augusto Zonta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a little luck, Petrolandia's Carlos Augusto Zonta got control of the ball when Alfredão Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Petrolandia booed when Missi AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arí Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juninho Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Juninho Seco came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Petrolandia's Aílton Furlan. But to his dismay, Aílton Furlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredão Correia was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petrolandia's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dênis Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, Missi AD's Juninho Seco got control of the ball when Richard Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Petrolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Correia came free, but Carlos Augusto Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Geovânio Terra fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Petrolandia's protests and gave Geovânio Terra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Petrolandia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Geovânio Terra hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Petrolandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Vander to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Missi AD getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Arí Paraense hit a great ball. Sílvio Luiz de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Dênis Vander took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Seco. Juninho Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Juninho Seco made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Richard Coelho sent off a good shot on target. Juninho Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dênis Vander in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Petrolandia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
