Enéas Moreno scored 2-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Paulista's goalkeeper Tião Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edinho Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
