Nelsinho Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nelsinho Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Branco in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Cristian Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes, Mambore SC's Elivélton Furtado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nelsinho Vidal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mambore SC reached it. After having played for 19 minutes, Armando de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tempero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Thor Kinell made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tempero's Nelsinho Vidal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cristian Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mambore SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelsinho Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cristian Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelsinho Vidal was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Gaúcho in the 28th minute of play forced Tempero's goalkeeper Nelsinho Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nelsinho Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Walmyr Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Nogueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Aloísio Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aloísio Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Mambore SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tempero:s goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tempero's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Branco came free, but Nelsinho Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diegotxe Roiz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Branco in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Carlos Arantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tempero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mambore SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tempero's Carlos Arantes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Diegotxe Roiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cristian Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelsinho Vidal was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The referee ignored Tempero's protests and gave Evaristo Mota a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mambore SC booed when Tempero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes Tempero got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Sergipano. Nelsinho Vidal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. 94 minutes into the match, Mambore SC's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Zonta came free, but Diegotxe Roiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Mambore SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tempero throughout the match.
