César Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamim Hermes's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When Marco Botelho fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortaleza Esporte Clube's protests and gave Marco Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Botelho hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Benjamim Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César Trigo. Fortaleza Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamim Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fortaleza Esporte Clube's zone, Benjamim Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Trigo came out of the goal and Benjamim Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Jean Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Divino F. C.'s Benjamim Hermes in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortaleza Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Benjamim Hermes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Trigo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 36 minutes, Sydney Teles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Divino F. C. and the Fortaleza Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Divino F. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 40 played minutes, Divino F. C.'s Sydney Teles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper César Trigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Divino F. C. reached it. 42 minutes into the match, Divino F. C.'s Jean Galvão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Divino F. C.'s Benjamim Hermes in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betão Britto made a kick off. Jean Galvão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Trigo having to make a save. Betão Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Geovanni Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Botelho in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Divino F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Goiano. If Betão Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Divino F. C. fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Divino F. C.'s Benjamim Hermes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nuno Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Britto in the 73rd minute of play. With his leg César Trigo managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Divino F. C.'s Benjamim Hermes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 83 played minutes, Divino F. C.'s Sydney Teles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper César Trigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Divino F. C. reached it. Jean Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. César Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Trigo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Benjamim Hermes sent off a good shot on target. Benjamim Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but César Trigo made a huge save. Divino F. C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Fortaleza Esporte Clube's much stronger midfield.
