When Edgard do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 100 MIZÉRIA's protests and gave Edgard do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes 100 MIZÉRIA got a freekick which was hit by Edgard do Nascimento. Batateira SS's Cléber do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernandão Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber do Nascimento in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Matorin in the 17th minute of play forced Batateira SS's goalkeeper Bruno Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Joélson das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernandão Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Armandinho Marinho had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to Batateira SS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Valério Saldanha hit a great ball. Eliseu Corrêa's late challenge caught a Batateira SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Batateira SS's Joélson das Neves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernandão Quirino. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. Batateira SS's Cléber do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernandão Quirino made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Teodoro Sarmento sent off a good shot on target. Claudinei Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bruno Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Eliseu Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joélson das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fernandão Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléber do Nascimento to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudinei Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Costa having to interfere. Cléber do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Joélson das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batateira SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Joélson das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Joélson das Neves put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernandão Quirino. Fernandão Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Batateira SS's goalkeeper Bruno Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Matorin. After having played for 76 minutes, Cléber do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batateira SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cléber do Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Joélson das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléber do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fernandão Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, 100 MIZÉRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson das Neves came free, but Fernandão Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Batateira SS had played much better football throughout.
