The supporters of Paxua AD booed when Temiminós S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Temiminós S.C.'s Walmyr Varela got control of the ball when Waldir Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Germano França came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Temiminós S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano França couldn't finish the play. Hélio Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Temiminós S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Silva. 31 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Aguiar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walmyr Varela, 1-0. Sydney Pernambucano hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Waldir Viana notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Temiminós S.C.'s Walmyr Varela. Walmyr Varela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Paxua AD's Sydney Pernambucano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walmyr Varela. Walmyr Varela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Germano França was the one to do the kick off. Paxua AD's Dinu Deșliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Silva in the 56th minute of play. Walmyr Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Pernambucano in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Paxua AD's Dinu Deșliu got control of the ball when Severino Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinu Deșliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano França, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Oswaldo Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Temiminós S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Temiminós S.C.'s Walmyr Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Viana in the 69th minute of play. Temiminós S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paxua AD the free kick. Dinu Deșliu made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Severino Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Waldir Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Waldir Viana notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Temiminós S.C.'s Walmyr Varela. Walmyr Varela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Paxua AD could leave the field as winners, despite Temiminós S.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
