Luís Eduardo Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisinho Paes's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Luisinho Paes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Eduardo Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Luís Eduardo Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Jacinto during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes 11 Guerreiros MZC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Jacinto. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Luisinho Paes sped through 11 Guerreiros MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Couto. If Conrado Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisinho Paes might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Eduardo Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisinho Paes ran back to his position shaking his head. Medonho F.C's Conrado Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Paes in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo Couto saved 11 Guerreiros MZC from getting behind. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Medonho F.C's Conrado Lago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Eduardo Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Conrado Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind 11 Guerreiros MZC's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Couto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Eduardo Couto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
