Penha FC's Alex Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Penha FC's Franklin França nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Allan Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Definitely Maybe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 32 minutes into the match, Alex Gaspar notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Definitely Maybe's Allan Couto. Allan Couto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Moisés Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Aguiar in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Alex Gaspar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Allan Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cláudio Moraes was the one to do the kick off. Edu Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Couto having to interfere. When Edu Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Penha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Medeiros couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Definitely Maybe's goalkeeper Allan Couto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Allan Couto made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Alex Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Manfredo Goiano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Anderson Valle came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Definitely Maybe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Valle couldn't finish the play. Emilio Gatnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Moraes in the 72nd minute of the match. Alex Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Allan Couto made a huge save. Didi Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Allan Couto having to make a save. Moisés Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Penha FC's Luís Paulo Pinho was substituted for Fausto Toledo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Didi Pombal in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Couto saved Definitely Maybe from getting behind. Allan Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Alex Gaspar came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Allan Couto could save by the left post. Didi Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Couto having to interfere. Allan Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Didi Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Definitely Maybe's Cláudio Moraes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Penha FC played a much better game than Definitely Maybe and deserved their victory. The Definitely Maybe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
