But to his dismay, Pedro Luís Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in AGAPEAMA FC's zone, Nico Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Velloso came out of the goal and Nico Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nico Pombal was the one to do the kick off. Emerson Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but João Paulo Batista made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Andrade got free with João Paulo Batista in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. In the 94th minute, Nico Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Although Mantém FC had been in control for most of the match, AGAPEAMA FC still came away with the win.
