After 3 minutes, Vivaldo Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scaglietti Clüb and the Edeia SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Scaglietti Clüb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Castro to maneuver through the defense. Firman Galdamez made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Lopez sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Scaglietti Clüb booed when Edeia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wágner Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Alvarenga in the 10th minute of play. Firman Galdamez made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Rogério Vidal sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th match minute, Edeia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Santana to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Scaglietti Clüb booed when Edeia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Cafu Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edeia SC and the Scaglietti Clüb players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Edeia SC's Cafu Santana got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Scaglietti Clüb's goalkeeper Firman Galdamez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Vidal. Scaglietti Clüb's Luís Andrade quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gernando Valadares, made in the 25th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Edmílson Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wágner Macedo. Edeia SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Firman Galdamez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guilherme Arruda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38th play minute Guilherme Arruda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Firman Galdamez. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Vidal in the 42nd minute of play forced Scaglietti Clüb's goalkeeper Firman Galdamez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edeia SC's goalkeeper Wágner Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Edeia SC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rogério Vidal hit a great ball. Cléber Matorin took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wágner Macedo. Wágner Macedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.

Edeia SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Edmílson Alvarenga scored to the left of an out of position Wágner Macedo, making the score, 2-3. Firman Galdamez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 67th minute, Gernando Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Firman Galdamez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 71st match minute, Scaglietti Clüb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Firman Galdamez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Vidal in the 77th minute of the match. Firman Galdamez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gernando Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edeia SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Firman Galdamez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88th play minutes Edmílson Alvarenga shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Wágner Macedo and just under the crossbar into goal. If Daniel Tastaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Alvarenga in the 95th minute of play forced Edeia SC's goalkeeper Wágner Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmílson Alvarenga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Wágner Macedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Scaglietti Clüb players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
