Ibituruna's supporters rose to their feet, but Renatinho Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renatinho Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Penha having to interfere. Punther Over Bet's Jerônimo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Rosa in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauã Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Renatinho Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
