Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alfredinho Madureira took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolf Ronde. Rolf Ronde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 6 minutes, Alfredinho Madureira made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. VASCO DA GAMA's Rolf Ronde tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Falcão Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Rolf Ronde made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alfredinho Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Rolf Ronde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Rolf Ronde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredinho Madureira in the 27th minute. Silvinho Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rolf Ronde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Miramar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Rolf Ronde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Branco in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Manoel Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. When Fabian Buda fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VASCO DA GAMA's protests and gave Fabian Buda a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredinho Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, VASCO DA GAMA's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Branco came free, but Rolf Ronde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Vladimir Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Buda hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75thth minute of the game Silvinho Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VASCO DA GAMA's Rolf Ronde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Silvinho Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredinho Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Ronde having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Silvinho Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramar's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Ronde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Alfredinho Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miramar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Miramar fans cheered their team off the field, for while VASCO DA GAMA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
