Zeca Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeca Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Novatos booed when Andarai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeca Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisinho Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Erik Jacinto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pedro Augusto Travassos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dito Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Luisinho Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, Novatos's Erik Jacinto made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Augusto Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Augusto Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A hard shot 54 in the game by Luisinho Silveira from a close distance when the talented Pedro Augusto Travassos managed to make a qualified save. Andarai FC's players were relieved. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Andarai FC's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Travassos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Luisinho Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Luisinho Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Augusto Travassos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Pedro Augusto Travassos was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Erik Jacinto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erik Jacinto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. João Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match.
