In the 84th match minute, Segredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Eliézer Madureira hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 91st play minutes Eliézer Madureira shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Perivaldo Vander and just under the crossbar into goal. Eliézer Madureira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perivaldo Vander having to make a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
