Gil Prata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Mathias Amaral hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Telmo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur da Silveira having to interfere. If Tiago Gabriel Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Uruguaina AD getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Víktor Godoi hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Warnow AD's Jefferson Quirino threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gil Prata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Gil Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson Quirino was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Warnow AD's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Nunes came free, but Arthur da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jefferson Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Gabriel Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Arthur da Silveira made a huge save. Warnow AD's Gil Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tiaguinho Pirani fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguaina AD's protests and gave Tiaguinho Pirani a yellow card for diving instead. Tiaguinho Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Tiago Gabriel Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jefferson Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Prata's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Nestor Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Quirino having to interfere. Nestor Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jefferson Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Gabriel Passos struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Arthur da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguaina AD. Warnow AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
