The referee showed Dadá Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When David Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Vauzinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Galvão couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Jarametais AD's zone, David Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Chaves came out of the goal and David Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lino Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarametais AD's Lino Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Bueno in the 80th minute of play. When Vauzinho FC's David Galvão in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
