In the 17th minute of the match Maicon Mendes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermínio Arce skillfully saved the ball. Hermínio Arce was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Juarês Vasconcelos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juarês Vasconcelos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. César Fontes took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermínio Arce. Hermínio Arce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Pereba SS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jean da Mata hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves César Fontes could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Hermínio Arce however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Hermínio Arce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Pereba SS's Jean da Mata got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedê Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Desejo AD's César Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermínio Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pereba SS's goalkeeper Hermínio Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Jonathan Donatello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hermínio Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Pereba SS's Jean da Mata got a free kick in the 78th minute. Maicon Mendes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hermínio Arce. Pereba SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Luís Paulo Valle made a precise shot to the right of Hermínio Arce. Pereba SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Fontes in the 96th minute of play forced Pereba SS's goalkeeper Hermínio Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Desejo AD fully deserved thier win.
