Evaristo Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavinho Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Pitta having to interfere. Curicica EC's Geovanni Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Curicica EC booed when Make My Ball Burn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wanderson Nunes during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wanderson Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Curicica EC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Robinho Paes hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Flavinho Sousa in the 31st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bernardo Koehler made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Didi Lima. In the 34th minute Didi Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Make My Ball Burn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Aírton Linares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Make My Ball Burn getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Wanderson Nunes hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Aírton Linares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Magalhães. Make My Ball Burn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aírton Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Make My Ball Burn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curicica EC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavinho Sousa made a kick off. In the 53rd play minute Aírton Linares came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Evaristo Magalhães. 0-2. Evaristo Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Aírton Linares made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Magalhães. Make My Ball Burn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Aírton Linares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Evaristo Magalhães made a huge save. Evaristo Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Aírton Linares sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Aírton Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curicica EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Make My Ball Burn's goalkeeper Evaristo Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgard Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Sousa in the 91st minute of the match. Geovanni Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Make My Ball Burn supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Curicica EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Curicica EC.
