When Oséias Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Lavajinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias Barbosa couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chorozinho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aleandro Nóbrega was slow to take the kick. During this time Lavajinha's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Lavajinha's corner Aleandro Nóbrega fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomás Maia quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Gustavo Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 minutes of play, Lavajinha's Oséias Barbosa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oséias Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Igor Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Borges in the 76th minute of the match.
