Rotulo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Alessandro Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rotulo EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SEEHAGEN FC the free kick. In the 25th minute of the match Luiz Gustavo Godoi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Velasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alessandro Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Pernambucano having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Alessandro Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rotulo EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Duarte in the 34th minute of play forced Rotulo EC's goalkeeper Alexandre Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind SEEHAGEN FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pernambucano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 played minutes, Rotulo EC's Eliézer Dias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Pernambucano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rotulo EC reached it. SEEHAGEN FC's Rodrigo Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Peres in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Alessandro Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexsandro Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Velasco having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guga Faria got free with Rodrigo Pernambucano in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th match minute, SEEHAGEN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Pernambucano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Guga Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rodrigo Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Pernambucano was a little too slow when Guga Faria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-2. After 78 minutes, Erik Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SEEHAGEN FC and the Rotulo EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rotulo EC booed when SEEHAGEN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duda de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Pernambucano having to interfere. Alexsandro Prado struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Alexandre Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SEEHAGEN FC. SEEHAGEN FC's Felippe Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexsandro Prado might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Velasco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexsandro Prado ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dieguinho Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEEHAGEN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dieguinho Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
