Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cesinha Peres kicked off to start the match. When Chico Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético de Santo André's protests and gave Chico Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Atlético de Santo André got a freekick which was hit by Chico Sergipano. Cesinha Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Natanael Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesinha Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Icacu SC's zone, Chico Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Guipuzkoa came out of the goal and Chico Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Atlético de Santo André's Durval Mandrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeronimo Guipuzkoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If João Augusto Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Atlético de Santo André booed when Icacu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe Cruz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cesinha Peres took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natanael Meira. Natanael Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 46th minute, João Augusto Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Douglas Bastos made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dinei Batista immediately put the ball in play. After 57 played minutes Atlético de Santo André got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Siqueira. Natanael Meira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesinha Peres went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Cesinha Peres took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natanael Meira. Natanael Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 69th minute Giuseppe Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Meira. Atlético de Santo André's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Icacu SC's Lino Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cesinha Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natanael Meira having to make a save. Lino Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natanael Meira having to make a save. The Atlético de Santo André supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Icacu SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Icacu SC.
