After 15 played minutes Scorpion got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Lucas. 17 minutes into the game, Leonel Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scorpion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União Feminina the free kick. The supporters of União Feminina booed when Scorpion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luisão Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the União Feminina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Coutinho couldn't finish the play. Tião de Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião de Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 minutes Scorpion's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisão Coutinho who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to União Feminina's Sílvio Luís Quadros getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Luiz Fabiano Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Scorpion players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. União Feminina were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisão Coutinho to make the kick off. Marcus Romero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Cristian Arce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marcus Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Feminina's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisão Coutinho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Scorpion's Tião de Medeiros got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Scorpion's Cristian Arce got control of the ball when Marcus Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Scorpion's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marcus Romero 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. 68 minutes into the match, Scorpion's goalkeeper Cristian Arce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Coutinho. Marcelinho Mendes came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Scorpion's Tião de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Tião de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the match was over União Feminina could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Scorpion throughout the match.
