Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernesto Senna kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Lajao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Silva to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Tróia got free with Cesinha de Souza in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano Toscano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesinha de Souza having to make a save. When Pimento's Ernesto Senna in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lajao's goalie prevented a goal. Ricardo Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Belmiro Berger, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 18 played minutes Lajao got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Valladares. After a defensive mix-up in Lajao's zone, Felipe Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho Cosme came out of the goal and Felipe Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ernesto Senna came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pimento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Senna couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Toscano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cesinha de Souza. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. A collision led to Lajao getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Benjamin Paraense hit a great ball. Lajao's Luizinho Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Senna in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Tróia got free with Cesinha de Souza in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciro Linares hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Hélder Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cesinha de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lajao booed when Pimento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pimento's zone, Nelson Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha de Souza came out of the goal and Nelson Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabiano Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cesinha de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiano Toscano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Lajao's Fabiano Toscano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesinha de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th match minute, Lajao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Pimento's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Toscano came free, but Cesinha de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lajao's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ernesto Senna 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. In the 68thth minute of the game Ernesto Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lajao's Luizinho Cosme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabiano Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesinha de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Felipe Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Luizinho Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pimento. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Tróia in the 83rd minute of play forced Pimento's goalkeeper Cesinha de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Pimento defense, Hélder Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha de Souza. The Pimento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha de Souza should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Ernesto Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Paraense's late challenge caught a Pimento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pimento booed when Lajao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Ceresso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luizinho Cosme came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Ceresso slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 90th minute. Luizinho Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Ceresso went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score.
