Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Bengt-Rune Tingberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adhemar Pitta. Sampaio Correia F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Rune Tingberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nilton Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Pitta having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Bengt-Rune Tingberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adhemar Pitta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. BANDOLEIROS UNITED's Pedrão Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save BANDOLEIROS UNITED from getting a goal against them. Durvalino Pontes's late challenge caught a BANDOLEIROS UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Durvalino Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sampaio Correia F.C's Durvalino Pontes got a free kick in the 41st minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willian Furtado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Sampaio Correia F.C's Willian Furtado made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrão Pernambucano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the game, Anísio Trigo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sampaio Correia F.C's Wilson Vieira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pedrão Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willian Furtado's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willian Furtado in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Pernambucano saved BANDOLEIROS UNITED from getting behind. Pedrão Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos de Castro in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sampaio Correia F.C's goalkeeper Adhemar Pitta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilson Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Wilson Vieira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Nilton Ortiz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sampaio Correia F.C's Adhemar Pitta didn't even have to move.
