The supporters of Pentagna booed when Juramento Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Juramento Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pentagna:s goal. Felippe Batista went to the wrong direction when Hermínio Breckenfeld was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Felippe Batista successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Pentagna's zone, Sten Kvarnström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Rodrigues came out of the goal and Sten Kvarnström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geraldo Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Alcaraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Olavo Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Luís Paulo Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pentagna booed when Juramento Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juramento Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Luís Paulo Sena scored to the left of an out of position Felippe Batista, making the score, 1-0.

After 51 played minutes Juramento Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Guerra. Felippe Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Arruda in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Ramón Alcaraz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geraldo Rodrigues, 1-1. After 57 played minutes Pentagna got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Costa. After having played for 61 minutes, Sten Kvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juramento Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Kvarnström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Olavo Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ramón Alcaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramón Alcaraz might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geraldo Rodrigues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramón Alcaraz ran back to his position shaking his head. Felippe Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Arruda in the 74th minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juramento Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Felippe Batista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramón Alcaraz took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geraldo Rodrigues. Geraldo Rodrigues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Juramento Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
