He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gernando Loureiro had great luck who in the 22ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Laurynas Galminas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to Pessegueiro getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Wanderson Freitas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jonathan Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sufoco Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernando Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Laurynas Galminas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gernando Loureiro. The goal made the score 2-0. Gernando Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurynas Galminas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurynas Galminas in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernando Loureiro saved Pessegueiro from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Pessegueiro's zone, Laurynas Galminas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernando Loureiro came out of the goal and Laurynas Galminas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Augusto Simões to make the kick off. Laurynas Galminas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gernando Loureiro having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurynas Galminas in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernando Loureiro saved Pessegueiro from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Dadá Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sufoco Football Club's Laurynas Galminas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Joélson Melo put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Sufoco Football Club booed when Pessegueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmyr Félix didn't quite understand what happened when in the 65 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sufoco Football Club's goalkeeper Gandolfo Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sufoco Football Club had won after a very even match.
