A collision led to Pontes AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Breno Rezende hit a great ball. Vyacheslav Zakarlyuka kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Danilo Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Talisma EC booed when Pontes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Samuca Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. João Paulo Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ciriaco Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talisma EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Ebardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Talisma EC's 顾傲斌 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Paulo Cordeiro. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. After 47 minutes, 吕树竞 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talisma EC and the Pontes AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Pontes AFC's João Paulo Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 顾傲斌 in the 54th minute of play. João Paulo Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuca Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Fernandez having to interfere. Danilo Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Rezende in the 65th minute. When Ciriaco Ebardo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Talisma EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Ebardo couldn't finish the play. João Paulo Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 顾傲斌's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pontes AFC's zone, Alfredo Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Cordeiro came out of the goal and Alfredo Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Teixeira in the 80th minute of play forced Pontes AFC's goalkeeper João Paulo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Talisma EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Saldanha came free, but Danilo Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Danilo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Saldanha in the 90th minute of play. Talisma EC's 吕树竞 got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94thth minute of the game 顾傲斌 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pontes AFC's João Paulo Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Ebardo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pontes AFC's João Paulo Cordeiro. João Paulo Cordeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Talisma EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
