Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelson Oliveira started the match with the kick off. When Américo do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Biquinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo do Valle couldn't finish the play. If Nelson Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pouca Sombra booed when Biquinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nelson Oliveira sped through Pouca Sombra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jean Maranhense. Jean Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo do Valle in the 34th minute of the match. Jean Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelson Oliveira went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 39 played minutes Biquinhas got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo de Amorim. Caetano Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Paraibano in the 39th minute of play. Reginaldo de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Maranhense having to make a save. Américo do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Paraibano to make the kick off. Biquinhas's Caetano Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Cruz in the 52nd minute of play. After 59 played minutes Pouca Sombra got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Proença. After 60 played minutes, Biquinhas's Pedrinho Maciel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean Maranhense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Biquinhas reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Paraibano in the 63rd minute of play forced Biquinhas's goalkeeper Caetano Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Pouca Sombra's goalkeeper Jean Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo do Valle. Nelson Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nelson Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jean Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Maranhense having to make a save. In the 79th match minute, Biquinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Roger Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Caetano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelson Oliveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jean Maranhense came out and tried to block the shot, but Nelson Oliveira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 89th minute. Anselmo Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Biquinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Peres to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Roger Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Biquinhas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
