Nelson Tande's late challenge caught a Winchester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson Tande helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Apuarema Junior got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Tande. When Apuarema Junior's Basílio Teixeira in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winchester FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fernandinho Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cipriano Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Apuarema Junior's Válter de Medeiros threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nelson Tande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Apuarema Junior's Agostinho Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Braga in the 30th minute of play. Winchester FC's Válter de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Teixeira in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Apuarema Junior getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Basílio Teixeira hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Winchester FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Cosme came free, but Válter de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Winchester FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oséas Lago was slow to take the kick. During this time Apuarema Junior's players had a chance to rest. 39 minutes into the game, Winchester FC's Dráusio Campidelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agostinho Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Basílio Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Válter de Medeiros made a huge save. Apuarema Junior's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oséas Lago in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Oséas Lago got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Válter de Medeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Basílio Teixeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Válter de Medeiros came out and tried to block the shot, but Basílio Teixeira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráusio Campidelis made a kick off. In the 56th minute Basílio Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Winchester FC's Serafim de Salles got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Léo Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apuarema Junior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Serafim de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafim de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Winchester FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim de Salles. Basílio Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter de Medeiros having to interfere. Válter de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Nelson Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Tande in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Nelson Tande notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Winchester FC's Válter de Medeiros. Válter de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Winchester FC's Vítor Fontes got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Apuarema Junior's Basílio Teixeira in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winchester FC's goalie prevented a goal. Válter de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. If Hélio Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Apuarema Junior players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
