Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edu Leão started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Tiririca SC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Telmo de Sena hit a great ball. In the 4th match minute, Tiririca SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Correia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tiririca SC's zone, Sebastião de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Carioca came out of the goal and Sebastião de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Edu Leão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiririca SC's Jonathan Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Couto in the 15th minute of play. If Wilian Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Carlos de Souza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duda Peres. Belenense FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Téo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Wilian Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiririca SC's Jonathan Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiririca SC's Jonathan Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Couto in the 29th minute of play. Jonathan Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Leão in the 30th minute of the match. Jonathan Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Belenense FC's Edu Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Carioca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 0-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Edu Leão elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Ernesto Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Durval Barral was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belenense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giovani Correia was slow to take the kick. During this time Tiririca SC's players had a chance to rest. Giovani Correia made a great header on Tiririca SC's corner, it was just that Belenense FC's Duda Peres managed to reach the ball for a save. When Edu Leão came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Belenense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Leão couldn't finish the play. Edu Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wilian Couto came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Belenense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Couto couldn't finish the play. If Edu Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wilian Couto came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Belenense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Couto couldn't finish the play. When Tiririca SC's Durval Barral in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belenense FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute Edu Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tiririca SC's Telmo de Sena got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Belenense FC's Edu Leão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 97 minutes into the match, Tiririca SC's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Leão came free, but Jonathan Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Belenense FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tiririca SC throughout the match.
