Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juvenal do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Deletados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Schmidt came free, but José Paulo Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Loyola in the 40th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Potyrendaba SC's Dorival Loyola made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Paulo Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the game, Cacá de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potyrendaba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deletados FC the free kick. Cacá de Amaral hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Ceresso in the 46th minute of play forced Potyrendaba SC's goalkeeper Willian Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Diguinho Schmidt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, José Paulo Eger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juvenal do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willian Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juvenal do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head.
