In the 7th minute, AQUI É GALO™'s Edgard Ribeiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edgard Ribeiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AQUI É GALO™ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edgard Ribeiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 7 minutes into the game, one of AQUI É GALO™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Abelardo Moura's late challenge caught a Camacandi AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Moura helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Recife during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AQUI É GALO™'s Alfredo Recife got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Claudinei Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AQUI É GALO™'s zone, Eliézer Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Godoi came out of the goal and Eliézer Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamim Pernambucano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laerte Machado went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Claudinei Porto scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AQUI É GALO™'s Rodolfo Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Pombal in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliézer Pombal made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Camacandi AD's Nildo Tasso got a free kick in the 50th minute. Rodolfo Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto de Almeida in the 55th minute of the match. Laerte Machado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Benjamim Pernambucano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Claudinei Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match Laerte Machado climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Benjamim Pernambucano. Claudinei Porto was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of AQUI É GALO™ booed when Camacandi AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamim Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Costa in the 70th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Laerte Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camacandi AD's Benjamim Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Recife struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Benjamim Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AQUI É GALO™. Benjamim Pernambucano came out of the goal and Laerte Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Pombal in the 81st minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, AQUI É GALO™'s Júlio Veiga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benjamim Pernambucano. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AQUI É GALO™ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
