Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Biertrinker FC's Cássio Cardozo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Maranhense in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Cássio Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Abelardo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. José Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Arvorezinha's Tadeu da Silva got control of the ball when Cássio Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Maranhense in the 25th minute of play forced Biertrinker FC's goalkeeper José Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Arvorezinha booed when Biertrinker FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Maranhense in the 29th minute of play forced Biertrinker FC's goalkeeper José Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Valle in the 30th minute of play. Biertrinker FC's José Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Valle in the 32nd minute of play. Cássio Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu da Silva having to interfere. If Adalberto Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Doriva Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arvorezinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Maranhense made a kick off. José Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu Valle in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Cássio Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tadeu da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cafu Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but José Bezerra made a huge save. Cafu Valle came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Bezerra could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Maranhense in the 66th minute of play forced Biertrinker FC's goalkeeper José Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biertrinker FC's attentive Abelardo Barros managed to snatch the ball when Rodolfo Bueno made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. José Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Maranhense in the 71st minute of the match. Cássio Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Tadeu da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biertrinker FC. 74 minutes into the match, Arvorezinha's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Barros came free, but Tadeu da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeu da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Cardozo in the 76th minute of play. When Cássio Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Biertrinker FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Cardozo couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Joel de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 85th minute, Abelardo Barros made a precise shot to the right of Tadeu da Silva. Arvorezinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 2-2 became the score in the 92nd minute when Roger Maranhense elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 96 minutes of play, Arvorezinha's Cafu Valle made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Biertrinker FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arvorezinha's performance. The match ended with a win for Arvorezinha.
