Spectators: 7049 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eriberto Castro made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, one of Coite SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Coite SS. Nando Vinhas shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Carlos Eduardo Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Castro in the 9th minute of the match. Dedé Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dino Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Coite SS's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adhemar Rodrigues. Carlos Eduardo Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Coite SS! Dino Negri came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Coite SS's Dedé Simão. But to his dismay, Dedé Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Castro in the 29th minute of play forced Coite SS's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedé Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Gabriel Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Furtado in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamim Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Zonta charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Zonta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Gabriel Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adhemar Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Eriberto Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iguaba AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Eduardo Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Castro in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Iguaba AD booed when Coite SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adhemar Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Barros having to interfere. Dedé Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dino Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Osmar Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adhemar Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Jorginho Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Barros came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Iguaba AD's Adhemar Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Adhemar Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Carlos Eduardo Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Castro in the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Iguaba AD had won after a very even match.
