Cacá Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Gilberto Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Marcelo Barreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Paranaense. Quadro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC LEAO's Marcelinho Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Salgado in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Alfredo Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quadro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC LEAO the free kick. Alfredo Proença hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Doriva Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Doriva Fernandez sped through Quadro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilberto Paranaense. The FC LEAO fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when FC LEAO's Doriva Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When FC LEAO's Doriva Fernandez in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quadro's goalie prevented a goal. Gilberto Paranaense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd match minute, FC LEAO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Fernandez in the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quadro's zone, Cacá Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Paranaense came out of the goal and Cacá Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Gilberto Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Donato in the 54th minute of the match. Quadro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Cacá Donato scored to the left of an out of position Gilberto Paranaense, making the score, 0-4. Gilberto Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doriva Fernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Gilberto Paranaense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 70 minutes into the match, Quadro's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Donato came free, but Gilberto Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, FC LEAO's Cacá Donato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilberto Paranaense. Gilberto Paranaense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doriva Fernandez got free with Gilberto Paranaense in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84th play minutes Cacá Donato shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Gilberto Paranaense and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 96th minute Marcelo Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Quadro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC LEAO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
