Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manoel Penha kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Quadro's goalkeeper Gilberto Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frédson Alvarenga. Frédson Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Gilberto Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arius. Manoel Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Albuquerque hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Gilberto Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 22 minutes, Manolo Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arius and the Quadro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arius's Manolo Freitas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Manoel Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frédson Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Paranaense having to interfere. If Frédson Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the game, one of Quadro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Arius's Allan Tróia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gilberto Paranaense. The audience was convinced that Manoel Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Paranaense was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeu Salgado was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Kauã Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arius's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quadro the free kick. After 53 played minutes Arius got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Luz. After recieving a nice pass, Quadro's Patrick Nogueira tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paulo José do Valle made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Alfredo Proença sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frédson Alvarenga in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Paranaense saved Quadro from getting behind. Romeu Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José do Valle having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Quadro's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Penha came free, but Gilberto Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alfredo Proença came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Quadro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Proença couldn't finish the play. Frédson Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Arius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frédson Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Penha in the 88th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play Arius's Manolo Freitas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Arius's Manolo Freitas got a free kick in the 90th minute. Romeu Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Paulo José do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arius's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
