Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Write Fox's Egídio Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Esteves in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Write Fox was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lei Shu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Mathias Perez in the 6th minute of play was well struck, but Egídio Luz made a really good save at the right post. Rafael Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eriberto Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Esteves in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Luz saved Write Fox from getting behind. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Isaltino Cosme hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Rafael Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Write Fox fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Porto in the 31st minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper Eriberto Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Meirelles having to interfere. After some careless play in the Flamengo defense, Rafael Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Meirelles. The Flamengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Meirelles should have stopped the shot. Write Fox's Egídio Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Esteves in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Porto in the 45th minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper Eriberto Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Flamengo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Write Fox were winning 1-2.

When Timóteo Leal fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Write Fox's protests and gave Timóteo Leal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Timóteo Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd match minute, Write Fox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Scheuber to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Write Fox eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
