Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Adolfo Secco took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime de Castro in the 5th minute of play forced Jovem Sport's goalkeeper Víktor Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alexsandro Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Luverdense Esporte Clube's zone, Reinaldo de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Godoi came out of the goal and Reinaldo de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luverdense Esporte Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reinaldo de Azevedo 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. With a little luck, Luverdense Esporte Clube's Alexsandro Godoi got control of the ball when Ruy Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexsandro Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alexsandro Godoi was a little too slow when João Adolfo Secco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Reinaldo de Azevedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Jovem Sport's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 34th minute, Percival Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruy Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jovem Sport's Ruy Recife came free and shot a quick shot against goal 39 minutes in the game, fortunately Alexsandro Godoi had problems saving as it came toward the left post. A collision led to Jovem Sport getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ruy Recife hit a great ball.

After a defensive mix-up in Jovem Sport's zone, Jaime de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víktor Veiga came out of the goal and Jaime de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jovem Sport's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Adolfo Secco in the 57th minute. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luverdense Esporte Clube! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Jovem Sport. João Adolfo Secco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alexsandro Godoi. 4-0. Ruy Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Godoi having to interfere. Benjamin de Toledo's late challenge caught a Jovem Sport's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin de Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. João Adolfo Secco shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 75 minutes into the game, Ivo Ortiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Víktor Veiga. Ivo Ortiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. João Adolfo Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Luverdense Esporte Clube's Percival Rosado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Ruy Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Godoi having to interfere. If Reinaldo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the match, Jovem Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Rosado came free, but Víktor Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
