An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Valladares in the 18th minute of play forced Sobrado's goalkeeper Victor Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sobrado's Victor Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Motta in the 21st minute of play. Victor Cearense didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pochica SC's Wilson Valladares shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 30th minute, Severino Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilson Valladares to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pochica SC's Telmo Pitta got a free kick in the 60th minute. Alfredão Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jaime Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Sobrado's goalkeeper Victor Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Valladares. Jaime Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Sobrado getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gernando Cunha hit a great ball. Wilson Valladaress short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Victor Cearense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfredão Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Tróia having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pochica SC defense, Naldo Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Tróia. The Pochica SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Tróia should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Alfredão Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Tróia. Pochica SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredão Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sobrado had won after a very even match.
