Cauan Toledo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Torpedo F. C.'s zone, Dalmo Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Borges came out of the goal and Dalmo Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertinho Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Cassinum EC's Fernando das Neves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dalmo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Gilmar Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torpedo F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cassinum EC the free kick. 20 minutes into the game, one of Torpedo F. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Richard Borges, was totally fooled by Cassinum EC's Fernando das Neves, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 28 minutes, Vito Couto made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cassinum EC's Zé Augusto Pombal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vito Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zé Augusto Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Borges made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Dieguinho Vaz sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the game, Hélder Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torpedo F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cassinum EC the free kick. In the 44th minute, Hélder Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando das Neves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Borges. Torpedo F. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dalmo Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmo Bittencourt to strike the kick off in the second half. José Pedro Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Pombal having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Dalmo Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cassinum EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Torpedo F. C. getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Raphael da Silveira hit a great ball. Cassinum EC's Dieguinho Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cassinum EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
