Durval Bezerra hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Ed Pointon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Rezende. Papaokena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Pointon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Osvaldo Rezende came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea Football Club's Renatinho Vieira. But to his dismay, Renatinho Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Osvaldo Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Vieira in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Marcelino Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Rezende. Papaokena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Durval Bezerra's late challenge caught a Papaokena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Durval Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fernando Saldanha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nilton da Silva. After 46 played minutes Papaokena got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Almeida. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Renatinho Vieira made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renatinho Vieira in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chelsea Football Club's Marcelino Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kiko Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Papaokena got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Almeida. 60 minutes into the match, Ed Pointon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Rezende. Papaokena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Pointon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Osvaldo Rezende didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Chelsea Football Club's Ed Pointon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. 69 minutes into the game, Renatinho Vieira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osvaldo Rezende. Renatinho Vieira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 78th minute, Marcelino Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chelsea Football Club made a substitution. Reinaldo Botelho replaced Ed Pointon. Dida Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Luiz Fernando Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Marcelino Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelsea Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. 91 minutes into the game, Raí de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papaokena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsea Football Club the free kick. After 92 played minutes Papaokena got a freekick which was hit by Raí de Almeida. Papaokena's Osvaldo Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Hoffmann in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Chelsea Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Papaokena.
