Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raí Fantini took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jean Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, FLASANTOS's Túlio Quintal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 9 played minutes FLASANTOS got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Motta. After a rather tough play, FLASANTOS's Luisinho Pena got a free kick in the 11th minute. Compasso's Osvaldinho Garcia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfredinho Valle but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Compasso's zone, Jean Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Vides came out of the goal and Jean Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Valle having to interfere. In the 20th minute Raí Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Gustavo Ramos in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Abreu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, FLASANTOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Compasso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 43 minutes, Jean Abreu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Compasso's Enrique Vides tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Raí Fantini might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredinho Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some careless play in the Compasso defense, Túlio Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Vides. The Compasso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Vides should have stopped the shot. Raí Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jean Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Vides was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After having played for 88 minutes, Túlio Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FLASANTOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FLASANTOS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
