Adilson Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Troncos booed when Bambura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Troncos's Willian de Lima couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bambura. Válter Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Vale in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Eusébio Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bambura's Válter Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Eusébio Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Troncos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inácio Vianna charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Rony Vale put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Válter Melo. 32 minutes into the match, Bambura's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Vale came free, but Válter Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 34 played minutes Troncos got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Valle. Troncos's Adilson Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Troncos from getting a goal against them. Bambura's Válter Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Vale in the 37th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Monteiro made a kick off. When Eusébio Esteves got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Válter Melo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Bambura's Valdemar Monteiro in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rony Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Melo having to interfere.
