Pacovais's Humberto Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Sergipano in the 35th minute of play. Humberto Lucas made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Róbson Pontes sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Sandrinho Brasil sped through Pacovais's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Humberto Lucas. Sandrinho Brasil struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Humberto Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salgadinho SS. Humberto Lucas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandrinho Brasil's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Geovânio Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Porto was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Alexandre Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacovais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Josué Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Pontes in the 65th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Lucas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Salgadinho SS booed when Pacovais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball.
