Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Severo in the 5th minute of play forced Juritis EC's goalkeeper Serginho Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nioac EC booed when Juritis EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Vivaldo Rosado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juritis EC's Serginho Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st match minute, Juritis EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Ramos to maneuver through the defense. At last the ball reached Lucas Bults at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Juritis EC. 0-1. Ademir Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Nioac EC's Guto Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Guto Severo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serginho Queiroz. Juritis EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guto Severo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Juritis EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serginho Queiroz should have stopped the shot. After having played for 42 minutes, Vivaldo Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nioac EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guto Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Serginho Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Vivaldo Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nioac EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guto Severo made a kick off. When Guto Severo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Nioac EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Severo couldn't finish the play. Serginho Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Guto Severo sent off a good shot on target. Vivaldo Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Afonso Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guto Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The tension between the Juritis EC and the Nioac EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nioac EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
