He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carlinhos Zanette. Nictheroy SC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Bau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulysses Aguiar took the corner. After a rather tough play, Bau's Augusto Moreira got a free kick in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nictheroy SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
