Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiaguinho de Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Décio de Amorim notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tijucucu SS's Robinho Pinho. Robinho Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dênis Maia hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Eusébio Negri scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés Luz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusébio Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Moisés Luz made a huge save. After having played for 22 minutes, Eusébio Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tijucucu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes SQUADRA 00 got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho de Moraes. Thanks to some nice moves Eusébio Negri could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Moisés Luz however easily saved by the left post. Moisés Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Negri went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Tiaguinho de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Moisés Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Negri in the 34th minute. If Tiaguinho de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SQUADRA 00's Moisés Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho de Sousa in the 42nd minute of play. Eusébio Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moisés Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Negri ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiaguinho de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Moisés Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Décio de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Belmiro Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Luz came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Tijucucu SS's Eusébio Negri. But to his dismay, Eusébio Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Tiaguinho de Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Tijucucu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiaguinho de Sousa couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho de Moraes during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luisinho de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Adriano Rezende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SQUADRA 00's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tijucucu SS the free kick. The referee gave Tijucucu SS a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Magno Pires, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SQUADRA 00's Moisés Luz. 4-1. With a little luck, Tijucucu SS's Robinho Pinho got control of the ball when Cesinha Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dênis Maia struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Robinho Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SQUADRA 00. 87 minutes into the match, Eusébio Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moisés Luz. SQUADRA 00's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusébio Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 95th minute Tijucucu SS were awarded a corner. Magno Pires went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Tijucucu SS's Magno Pires to fire away a dangerous shot which Moisés Luz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cesinha Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesinha Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SQUADRA 00 getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Cesinha Salgado hit a great ball. When Eusébio Negri came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Tijucucu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Negri couldn't finish the play. SQUADRA 00's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
