Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Váldson da Mata started the match with the kick off. Conrado França took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Acácio de Sousa. Acácio de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Conrado França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Acácio de Sousa made a huge save. João Paulo Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Tróia having to interfere. The supporters of Urubici United booed when Itabuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes, Conrado França made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Itabuna's Acácio de Sousa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes Itabuna got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Tande. After a defensive mix-up in Itabuna's zone, Conrado França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio de Sousa came out of the goal and Conrado França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rafael Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urubici United's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 played minutes Urubici United got a freekick which was hit by Elias Fantini. Fred Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Tasso in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Conrado França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urubici United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Itabuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Secco to maneuver through the defense. Urubici United's Fred Tróia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Urubici United from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Urubici United getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marcinho Motta hit a great ball. Rafael Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Acácio de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Fred Tróia made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Urubici United's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson da Mata came free, but Fred Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Váldson da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, João Paulo Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Tróia having to interfere. If Valério Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Acácio de Sousa having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Váldson da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred Tróia made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when João Paulo Tasso sent off a good shot on target. Urubici United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
