The supporters of Cerquinho SS booed when Creciuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeferson Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Creciuna's goalkeeper Gonçalo Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonçalo Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Paraense in the 67th minute of play. Jeferson Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Paiva in the 69th minute. There was no doubt that Cerquinho SS were the better team. Cerquinho SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
