If Angelo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golabeira's Angelo Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dida Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arí Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Golabeira fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Arthur Coelho shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to RaToX getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Claudinei Sergipano hit a great ball. When Angelo Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Golabeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Alexsandro Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Simão having to interfere. Douglas Soeiro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Alexsandro Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Bebeto Simão. RaToX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Golabeira's goalkeeper Arí Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Senna. Dida Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Arí Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dida Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes RaToX got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Soeiro. Angelo Aguiar took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Simão. Bebeto Simão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 79th minute Alexsandro Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alexsandro Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golabeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Golabeira's Arí Valadares got control of the ball when Dida Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When RaToX's Dida Pereira in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anderson Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Golabeira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
